Tatak C3: Blogging Workshop for Aspiring Bloggers by Cebu Content Creators

There is more to this day than just this workshop and I promise I'll tell you all about it but for now, I give you a glimpse of what it's like to attend a workshop organized by Cebu Content Creators on a Saturday afternoon.  The workshop, by the way, is called Blogging for First-Timers   and it was hash tagged as #BFFWorkshop . It was held at Handuraw, Mango last July 29, 2017 . When I found out about the workshop, truth be told, I was hesitant to register. I had a bad experience with a blogging workshop last June. It was a total scam. I won't say any detail about the last workshop I attended because I don't want them to have any kind of traffic/views/searches. Good thing I didn't let my fear of being scammed again stop me and registered for this one though. I wouldn't have known all the things that they shared and taught us. 06.2017. #TatakC3 A post shared by Cebu Content Creators (@cebucontentcreators) on May 30, 2017 at 9:20pm PDT ...

FORTUNA CIRCUIT : Our Current Condition

Kicking off this new series on the blog with an exhibit from various artists in Metro Cebu. Fortuna Circuit : Our Current Condition opened last week(ish), March 23, 2017. It was my first time viewing 856 G Gallery with the white walls and I gotta say, that it looks hella good. Wait, no, actually it looks better than the walls before which were painted black.  I didn't read up on the meaning behind the exhibit prior to my viewing because my visit was actually unexpected. My girlfriend and I were driving to school when I saw 856 G's sign that has the exhibit's name and date. We had to stop by. I've been itching to do a series like this on the blog but I never had the chance to go to the past exhibits that 856 G and Qube had but now that the semester is (almost) over, I promise to keep you guys in the loop of all things art here in Cebu. Enough chat, here are the photos of some of my favorite artworks. Also, please let me know if the editing style is too m...

M.WILSON Salon & Spa Anniversary

Last Sunday, I was invited by my friend Gabe to M.Wilson Salon & Spa's 3rd year anniversary. I was late (as usual) but they gladly gave me a session of eyelash extensions the same day. They were fully booked that day so there was a waiting list but atleast before the session, I had time to do a shoot with Gabe's boyfriend, Karhlo. The photos are down below, so read on! Hi Gabe! I was lucky that day. Aside from the free food and service, I also scored a few shots from Karloh. He brought with him 35mm and 50mm lens and the shots looked so professional. I felt like a legit blogger lol! I think I'm putting new lens for my camera on my wishlist! TOP: Thrifted Pants: ForMe Choker: Diyed Slip-ons: SM Dept. Right after the photos were taken, I read my sister's copy of China Rich Girlfriend. It's now on my list of fave books. Kevin Kwan makes me laugh and envious at the same time. The lives of the ridiculously rich Asians and...

Cuppa Folk : Birdseed Breakfast Club + Café

Last Saturday night, I was invited to Birdseed Breakfast Club + Cafe to watch Cuppa Folk again. Hanna had 2 sets ready for her time to sing and I listened with their Iced Kopi Jelly in hand. Their coffee blend is to die for and their interiors feel so homey and warm. It reminds me of Brique but Birdseed is more modern (in a way). Some screenshots of my Instagram story. Follow me  @hello.benj. I might visit Birdseed again soon because I actually want a different post dedicated to their food and service. But for now, here are just glimpses of it through the event and the *always* filmed photos of this post. I was with Mikee, Chin, Cire (Hanna's company) and (my company) Zaira and Lai. I don't have them in photos but I might sneak one soon. mehehe  Cuppa Folk  is a monthly * I think* event organized by 22 Tango Records. 22 Tango is an independent record label here in Cebu. They mentor and sign local artists and help them s...
